Job Summary/Objective

The Controls Engineer is responsible for creating a cohesive and functional design to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes that are used with packaging equipment for bottlers, robotic case packing and palletizing, and case packing and packing equipment for tray, film and shrink wrapping. Design, implement and document control systems for various types of automation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Wire machinery following detailed electrical prints
  • Conduct electrical/hydraulic pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed
  • Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes and assist various departments with the implementation of new tools and processes and required training
  • Program, modify and update a variety of electronic equipment with PLC, HMI, Robots AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Vision Systems
  • Manage the timely and professional communication of project schedule and status with customers, OEM vendors and IPM staff
  • Create Description of Operation documentation
  • Create hardware and installation drawings in AutoCad/AutoCad Electrical
  • Create BOM for use of purchasing components
  • Write PLC & HMI software that meets the expectations for customer requirements
  • Develop PLC and HMI software as per the requirements of the customer
  • Work cohesively with (internal teams) the EQUIPS team to provide documentation and training support
  • Work with management to review and develop new policies and procedures
  • Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards
  • Troubleshoot – Perform all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot, problem solve and repair
  • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient with various software MS Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, AutoCAD
  • Strong Rockwell Automation experience

Travel Requirement

  • Travel is required; approximately 50 percent

Job Summary/Objective

The Mechanical Engineer intern position provides engineering support to new and existing customers by developing engineering solutions for conveyor systems, case packers, robotic palletizing cells, custom vision systems and End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) as needed. This position also provides support for shop floor assembly, testing, integration, and installation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Utilizes AutoCAD and SolidWorks in the design of equipment and conveyor systems
  • Resumes, coordinate interviews, and update internal documents
  • Provides engineering input and support in value engineering customer requirements
  • Provides customized product input to support project quoting in the areas of Conveyor and Equipment Designs, Vendor Integration, and Customer Support
  • Engineers product solutions to meet customer’s unique application needs
  • Ensures exceptional Customer Care with consistent and timely follow up
  • Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with Mechanical Engineering team members and others in the organization

Essential Job Functions

  • Wire machinery following detailed electrical prints.
  • Interact with customer, engineers and others to ensure an acceptable high-quality installation.
  • Install and test safety equipment. (e.g. emergency stop circuits, light curtains etc.)
  • Install wiring in a workmanship-like manner ensuring a clean neat and safe environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Machine Wiring Electrician.

  • Ability to travel for up to two weeks at a time.
  • Valid Journeyman’s license.

Job Summary/Objective

The Field Controls Technician is responsible for working cooperatively with members of the Electrical Controls team to develop, implement, and install detailed electrical controls designs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in developing, implementing and installing electrical and control systems.
  • Lead system startups of IPM equipment.
  • Lead electrical field installations.
  • Modify site plans as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Modify and update PLC and HMI code as needed.

Job Summary/Objective

The Assembly technician works within the team to achieve production goals. The position is responsible for assembling conveyor sections and products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications to produce quality results.

Essential Job Functions

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete assembly of equipment and products and prepare items for shipment.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with Production Lead to resolve issues.
  • Escalate issues to Assembly Lead as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, working within a team, sharing ideas, and establishing good relationships in the execution of production tasks.
  • Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team.
  • Place safety of self and others in high esteem.
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.

The Lead Assembly Technician position is a hands-on, working lead role, responsible for working with Production management to ensure the production schedule is met by using his or her leadership skills and experience to guide the production employees in producing quality and efficient production results.

  • Keep assembly team on task.
    • Locate all missing, misplaced or miss ordered parts.
    • Work through any design or part issues with mechanical engineering.
    • Keep track of consumables (Reorder when needed).
    • Keep quality standards high.
    • Skid and ship all assemblies and all loose parts with each JOB.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, working with your team, sharing ideas, and establishing good relationships in the execution of production tasks.
  • Train the assembly team to produce a consistent quality product.
