Job Summary/Objective

We are currently seeking to hire an internal IT professional to directly oversee our organization’s information technology strategy. As our IT Manager, you will be responsible for working with our extended information technology team to achieve goals, provide cost- effective solutions, and ensure daily operations. This position provides technical support and assistance with the organization’s computer networks and systems towards our zero-downtime initiative.


  • Budget development.
  • Oversee IT strategy.
  • Develop, implement and manage computing systems software.
  • Perform routine software maintenance.
  • Document all IT related task and procedures per policy.
  • Provides technical support identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardware for problems specific to the organization’s computer networks and systems.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert internally for security tool sets.
  • Performing security assessments and making recommendations.
  • Designing, maintaining and training incident response procedures.
  • Collaborates with extended IT team to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to systems and networks.
  • Manages software or hardware lifecycles with extended IT team.
  • Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
  • Coordinates with managers and users to identify systems problems; assesses severity of the issues and prioritizes responses as appropriate.
  • Performs system tests and collaborates with employees to resolve issues and errors.
  • Works with users to identify system requirements; develops processing procedures and systems modifications to meet these specifications.
  • Uses structured and cost analysis to identify and recommend updates to the current network and computer systems.
  • Drafts informational materials and graphics to explain systems to managers and users.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by manager.

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
  • Certifications in Microsoft VMWare preferred.
  • Certifications including CompTIA Security, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP or CISM preferred.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell software a plus.
  • Familiarity with EPICOR software a plus.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • At least four years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
