Mechanical Engineer 

Full-time Exempt Position

Job Summary/Objective
The Mechanical Engineer position provides engineering support to new and existing customers by developing engineering solutions for conveyor systems, case packers, robotic palletizing cells, custom vision systems and End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) as needed.  This position also provides support for shop floor assembly, testing, integration, and installation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Utilizes AutoCAD and SolidWorks in the design of equipment and conveyor systems
  • Provides engineering input and support in value engineering customer requirements
  • Provides customized product input to support project quoting in the areas of Conveyor and Equipment Designs, Vendor Integration, and Customer Support
  • Engineers product solutions to meet customer’s unique application needs
  • Ensures exceptional Customer Care with consistent and timely follow up
  • Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with Mechanical Engineering team members and others in the organization

Required Education 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional overnight travel required on a quarterly basis

 

Training Specialist

Job Summary/Objective

Develop and deliver custom technical training programs, utilizing internal format, to improve individual and organizational performance at customer locations

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify customer requirements and develop training program accordingly
  • Develop and oversee the production of classroom presentations and handouts, instructional materials, job aids, and manuals
  • Deliver training courses using a variety of instructional techniques, such as classroom lectures, hands-on exercises, simulations, team activities, group discussions, or videos
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure proficiency of taught skills and techniques
  • Coordinate all details of training program
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned by Manager

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years with technical writing, training
  • Computer skills; MS Office Suite, Adobe Systems (InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups

Required Education 

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing, Creative Writing, or Technical Writing preferred

Travel Requirements

  • Travel is required; approximately 25-40 % percent trave
